We are Amy, Ernest, and our sweethearts, Marley and Marj.

We began in our backyard, from a love of flowers, quiet mornings, and the simple beauty found in nature. What started as a way to slow down and reconnect has grown into a small flower farm rooted in love, intention, and the joy of sharing what’s in bloom.

We grow seasonal flowers with care, creating fresh bouquets and plant offerings that feel natural, thoughtful, and full of heart. Just flowers grown close to home, gathered by hand, and made to brighten the day in front of you

a little more love.

When we first imagined what we wanted Wakey Wakey Flowers to be, it could be anything and everything, so long as it did one thing: add more love into our lives and the lives of others.

    We are committed to creating space where everyone feels loved, welcomed, and included.

  • Love for our soil

    Healthy soil is everything. We use organic and biodynamic practices in our flower fields and keep our composting right here on the farm, where we also make our own compost tea to nourish our plants. We’ve set aside permanent areas of the farm for beneficial insects and pollinators, creating habitat that brings more life into our fields. For us, it’s about creating a healthy, living ecosystem.

    We arrange with flowers grown primarily right here in our backyard in Parksville. When we need to supplement, we source from growers nearby and across Vancouver Island. This keeps our flowers close to home, means fewer miles travelled, and helps support a thriving local flower community.

    We see the beauty in the natural, the seasonal, and the imperfect. We embrace the seasons and let what’s growing in the garden inspire what we create.
